NEWALTA: Rediscovering Resources
Newalta provides cost-effective solutions to industrial customers to improve their environmental performance with a focus on recycling and recovery of products from industrial residues. We push beyond conventional thinking about waste, finding solutions that transform it into new products that will contribute to our customer's bottom line and reduce the environmental footprint. Where by-product recovery isn't possible, we find ways to reduce the production of waste at the source.

These services are provided both through our network of 80 facilities across Canada and at our customers' facilities where we mobilize our equipment and people to process material directly onsite. Our customers operate in a broad range of industries including the oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, lead, manufacturing and mining industries.

Locally, Newalta's Sussex Facility recycles over 80 percent of the waste that comes into the branch. The facility typically manages:
- Used oil and oily solids
- Oil filters
- Hazardous liquids and solids
- Varsol
- Antifreeze
- Paint thinner and paint sludge
- Labpacks
- Acids
- Caustics

Newalta is also a highly experienced drill site services provider. Services and equipment include:
