All About Wetlands
The Watercourse and Wetland Alteration Program (WAWA) is critical to the preservation and protection of our high quality water resources. The intent of this project is to increase the awareness, understanding and acceptance of the Province's Watercourse and Wetland Alteration Program.

The information contained within this document has been obtained from the resources of the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Department of Environment. In some cases this information has been updated to reflect the most recent version of the New Brunswick Wetland Conservation Policy. Any further questions or concerns should be directed to the Department of Environment.

All About Energy Conservation and Efficiency
This project supported through the Environmental Trust Fund wasto develop a brochure on Energy Conservation and Efficiency. The brochure entitled "All About Energy Conservation and Efficiency" provides tips for inside and outside your home, in summer and winter, on how to use energy more efficiently, make better energy choices to control expenses and lessen the impact on the environment of energy use. This brochure also features an information section for children.

All About Water Conservation
This brochure provides practical tips for conserving and saving water at home plus it also features a water conservation section for kids. Call or email the NBEIA office for copies.

STORM WATER MANAGEMENT - BEST PRACTICES ASSESSMENT
Through an Environmental Trust Fund project, NBEIA and their consultant GEMTEC Limited completed a baseline assessment of both the public and private sector storm water management practices. The assessment focused on eastern Canadian provinces and the New England States to identify various technologies and levels of management.

NEW BRUNSWICK AIR AND WATER POLLUTION SURVEY
NBEIA's latest project supported through the Environmental Trust Fund was to prepare, conduct, analyze and report on a survey that seeks industry's input on ideas, opportunities, concepts, options, etc. that may be available to reduce air

emissions and wastewater discharges. The objectives of the survey is to help identify ways to reduce air and water pollution in both the short term and in the long term.
