Extended Producer Responsibility Workshop

On February 27-29, 2008, New Brunswick Department of Environment and Environment Canada  
co-hosted Canada's 5th National Workshop on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), as part of  
a continuing effort to promote and improve EPR programs throughout the country. The workshop  
forum provided an opportunity for stakeholders from industry, government, non-government and stewardship  organizations to share challenges and exchange ideas on EPR program design and implementation. More  than 125 delegates from across Canada and around the world met in  Fredericton to participate in the  workshop.

Along with the valuable information sharing opportunities provided at the Workshop, a healthy dose  of  Maritime hospitality was imparted to those in attendance.
